A year of learning how to coach running properly

A year of learning how to coach running properly

This time last year I had none of this.

No LiRF.
No CiRF.

Just a general interest in running and helping people move better.

A year ago this weekend I did my LiRF course.

It was only a day, but it changed how I looked at running.

Not just something you do…
but something you can actually coach properly.

Last October I started the CiRF course.

Five months of learning, testing, and rethinking how I approach things.

Not just sessions… but:

  • how people move
  • how they build confidence
  • how they return after time away

The certificates themselves don’t really matter.

What matters is:

👉 understanding how to help people run in a way that works for them

Especially:

  • people starting again
  • people lacking confidence
  • people who don’t feel like they “fit” in a running club

Everything I’ve learned over the last year is going straight into what I’m building now.

The Legends
Wild Rise
The sessions I run week to week

Still learning. Still refining.

But a lot clearer now on how I want to coach.
